Commercial Water Damage – Tallahassee Offices
Commercial water damage occurred in this Tallahassee office building when an overhead water pipe above the ceiling burst during the night. When the management of the building discovered the water damage in the morning, they immediately called SERVPRO® of North Leon County. When encountering a water damage event such as this our trained technicians would first assess the situation and devise a water damage restoration plan. That assessment would include the use of sophisticated moisture detection instruments to determine if the sub-flooring had absorbed too much water. In this case, the sub-flooring had become saturated, and the carpeting would need to be remove3d to dry the sub-floor thoroughly. After suctioning up the majority of the water, our crews would remove the carpeting and set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to augment the drying process.
